We are committed to providing tenants with sustainable buildings through more efficient use of the earth's resources by reducing energy use, conserving water, minimizing waste, reducing CO2 emissions, recycling materials, and improving indoor quality of property environments. These efforts have helped us meet the strict guidelines set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency to achieve Energy Star Ratings as well as those set forth by the U.S. Green Building Council for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®
) certifications.
Initiatives
- All of Crescent’s buildings are either LEED® certified or are registered with the certification goal of LEED® Certified.
- Crescent properties work with building customers to reduce energy and water consumption and to reduce waste through recycling efforts.
- Greenway Plaza’s twice annual e-Cycle collection days have recycled or diverted more than 95 tons of electronic waste from landfills since 2009.
- Greenway Plaza's building recycling program collected 373 tons of paper, plastic and aluminum.
