HOUSTON, TX (January 30, 2012) – Crescent Real Estate Holdings LLC announced today that Apache Corporation signed a lease renewal of 497,592 square feet at Post Oak Central in Uptown Houston for five years beyond the expiration of its current lease at the end of 2013. Eric Siegrist, vice president of leasing for Crescent at Post Oak Central, and Bob Boykin, managing director of leasing for Crescent, represented the owner while Tim Relyea and Scott Wegmann of Cushman Wakefield represented Apache.
“We are extremely pleased to retain Apache as a long-term customer in Post Oak Central, an award-winning and LEED Gold-certified complex,” said Siegrist.
Siegrist added that, to his knowledge, the Apache lease renewal is the largest transaction of the new year in Houston and will likely remain the largest commercial real estate renewal throughout 2012. Apache secured additional space in Post Oak Central during negotiations in 2011. The additional space, which was rolled into the five-year lease renewal, includes 132,000 square feet in Three Post Oak Central, according to Siegrist.
