Christopher Goff

Capital Formation

As Senior Managing Director, Head of Capital Formation, Christopher Goff oversees all capital raising for Crescent’s GP Invitation Funds and deal-by-deal syndications. Mr. Goff is focused on optimizing the firm’s equity relationships, overall corporate strategy and portfolio construction. Previously, Christopher spent three years managing hotel acquisitions and developments across all hospitality product types ranging from select-service to luxury full-service hotels. Based in Fort Worth, Mr. Goff joined Crescent Real Estate LLC in 2020 as Director, Investments. Mr. Goff is a Member of Investment Committee and Senior Management Committee.

Prior to joining Crescent, Mr. Goff worked for Castle Hill Partners, a real estate private equity firm focused on the development of long duration master planned communities and targeted real estate investments requiring complex repositioning or debt resolutions. Additionally, Mr. Goff worked for CAVU Venture Partners, a consumer-focused venture capital firm with offices in New York, Austin and Los Angeles. Mr. Goff spent six years in New York City as an Associate at WM Capital Partners focused on distressed debt investments and special situations loan originations across all commercial real estate asset classes, and at Smith & Associates where he focused on international account management and supply chain analytics in the semiconductor industry.

Mr. Goff graduated summa cum laude from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics where he was a University Honors Scholar and earned the NYU Founder’s Day Award and Wallace Gobetz Memorial Award in recognition of graduating number one in his class. Mr. Goff also graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Master of Business Administration concentrating in Private Equity and Real Estate Finance where he was recognized as one of Poets & Quants: 100 Best & Brightest MBAs globally.

Christopher Goff remains active in his community and with the University of Texas Real Estate Center. He runs marathons as a fundraiser for numerous charities, including Shatterproof, Guide Dogs UK, and Home Base.
