LAS VEGAS, NV (Aug. 4, 2011) – The owner of the Hughes Center business park near Paradise and Flamingo Roads is collecting school supplies that will be donated to needy students at the Lewis E. Rowe Elementary School in Las Vegas.

The annual school supply drive is one of many such community services projects the company organizes for customers and visitors to Hughes Center, according to Bob Boykin, managing director for leasing in Las Vegas and Houston for Hughes Center owner Crescent Real Estate Holdings LLC.

He said donations are being collected now at the Hughes Center concierge desk located in the lobby of the Wells Fargo Tower at 3800 Howard Hughes Parkway. Supplies can also be dropped off at Crescent’s Property Management Office in Suite 150 of the tower at 3800 Howard Hughes Parkway. For questions or to schedule a pick-up, call Jaci Zweig at 697-6805. Crescent will be accepting donations for Rowe students through Aug. 24.

School supplies needed by Rowe students include: elementary writing tablets, backpacks, pencils, colored pencils, pens, crayons, paints, notebook paper, dictionaries, construction paper, rulers, glue, erasers, pencil sharpeners, pencil boxes, subject folders, safety scissors, calculators, art supplies, highlighters, facial tissue, notepads, index cards, staplers and staples, paperclips and Spanish/English dictionaries. Crescent is also collecting box tops from popular packaged products that participate in the “Box Tops for Education” program.
