DALLAS, Feb. 8, 2018 – Crescent Real Estate has formed a partnership with Dallas luxury home builder Platinum Homes, led by CEO Mark Molthan, to complete the final phase of Regency Row at The Tower Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas.
Designed by distinguished architect Robert A.M. Stern, the four stately manor homes of Regency Row offer unmatched living experiences with elegant masonry and wrought-iron-accented exteriors that echo a classical era of luxury and refinement. The brownstone-inspired homes – which range in size from 5,300 to 6,300 square feet – feature private garages; gated, fully landscaped courtyard entrances; and personal, high-speed elevators providing access from the garage level to the rooftop terrace. Located in the vibrant Uptown Dallas neighborhood, the Regency Row enclave faces Olive Street at Cedar Springs Road and overlooks another Crescent property, McKinney & Olive, a landmark, multi-use development designed by internationally acclaimed architect Cesar Pelli and his firm, Pelli Clarke Pelli.
Mark Molthan of Platinum Homes has been building in the Highland Park and Park Cities area since 1999. Voted as a “Dallas Best Builder” every year since 2006 and recognized among the nation’s elite by the National Association of Home Builders, Molthan handled the custom construction and design for the first of four Regency Row homes. As a result of his success, the Crescent team tapped Molthan to direct the interior construction of the remaining three homes.
“We chose Mark Molthan and his team to provide the expertise to complete our vision for Regency Row. We were impressed with Mark’s design aesthetic, his attention to detail and his talent for creating a spectacular, custom-tailored home. It was an easy decision to ask him to join us in completing the remaining three Regency Row homes,” said John C. Goff, chairman of Crescent Real Estate LLC.
Construction will commence this spring. Early buyers will be able to work with Molthan and his design team – which includes prominent designers Laura Kirar and Allen Kirsch – to give each of the remaining townhomes a distinctive interior plan exquisitely finished to the last detail. Projected completion is fall 2018.
Molthan notes that one home will feature a traditional design along with a translucent wine cellar under the stairs that provides a warm glow of light throughout the first three levels. The second home has a more contemporary finish with a stunning floating stairwell and abundant natural light, and the third option offers a more transitional home with several aspects that make it a one-of-a kind luxury urban residence.
“Here’s a chance to create the house of your dreams in one of the best neighborhoods in the nation, transforming the space from a shell into a fully customized home,” said Molthan.
The partnership with Molthan tops off a stunning decade of activity in Uptown for Crescent Real Estate. The company recently completed a $33 million renovation of The Crescent®, a mixed-use complex built in 1986 that serves as an iconic anchor today and continues its reign as the financial center of the Southwest. In 2007, they opened The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas, and The Tower Residences at The Ritz-Carlton where they sold 70 homes in Tower One and another 95 residences in the adjoining Tower building. In July 2016, Crescent and its affiliates purchased Hotel Crescent Court, which recently completed a $30 million renovation. The opening of McKinney & Olive in fall 2016 brings their ownership in Uptown to four major properties spanning approximately 20 contiguous acres.
“Due to our recent focus on McKinney & Olive and the evolution of Uptown amenities to support these truly luxurious brownstone residences, we chose to wait before completing Regency Row, which opened up an opportunity for us to partner with Mark and Platinum Homes,” added Goff. “The bottom line is that the value of Regency Row is now fully realized. Buyers will have an opportunity to take full advantage of the award-winning architecture and the lushly landscaped one-acre park directly across Olive Street, along with wonderful restaurants, retail and other incredible services, perks and amenities right outside their door.”
Situated amidst Crescent properties recognized for their world-class service, Regency Row homes offer a lifestyle of unrivaled comfort and convenience with access to the private fitness center, resort-style outdoor pool, concierge and housekeeping services of The Tower Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas. In addition, the impeccable amenities and five-star luxury service of The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas, are just steps away. These range from the Texas-inspired cuisine of chef Dean Fearing’s celebrated restaurant and the soothing indulgence of the spa services, to the hotel staff’s attentive concierge and dining services.
Regency Row also boasts one of the most prestigious addresses in the city with walkable access to world-class dining and shopping – from Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse and Shake Shack, to Stanley Korshak at The Crescent and neighboring boutiques and galleries. Arts, entertainment and recreation options beckon with the Dallas Arts District, American Airlines Center, Klyde Warren Park and the Katy Trail nearby.
According to Kyle Crews with Allie Beth Allman & Associates, exclusive listing agent for The Tower Residences and Regency Row, the new homes are anticipated to be priced from $5.5 million to $6.5 million.
“This is one of the hottest locations in Dallas, and we are already meeting with prospective buyers who are eager to envision the custom designs that they, Mark and his design team will create,” said Crews.
